My story
Why I'm running for District 178
For years, I’ve stood at the front of a science classroom teaching young people how to ask good questions, weigh the evidence, and reach conclusions they can defend. That training — curiosity, honesty, and a respect for facts — is exactly what’s missing in too much of our politics today.
I watched our public schools stretched thin by unfair funding. I listened to seniors worried about being taxed out of homes they’ve lived in for decades. I talked with families anxious about healthcare costs and the safety of their drinking water. And I decided I couldn’t just hope someone else would step up.
So I’m stepping up. I’m running for Pennsylvania State Representative in the 178th District because our communities deserve a representative who treats public service like the serious, evidence-based work it is — not a stage for chaos and division.
What I believe
Good government is steady, honest, and practical. It funds great schools. It gives working families and retirees real relief. It protects clean water and holds polluters accountable. It defends the freedom to vote and the rule of law. And it does all of this by listening first — to teachers, to small-business owners, to seniors, to neighbors of every political stripe.
I’ll bring the same approach to Harrisburg that I bring to the classroom: do the homework, follow the evidence, and never stop putting people first.
